I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am the mother of an 9-yr-old boy, Michael , who lives with me full-time here in Jersey, subtracting bi-weekly visits w/ his father Spiro in NY (and their summer vacations to Greece!). Michael is an amazing little being, whom I hope to help grow into an amazing man. So full of love, spirit, and challenge!
I am a classically-trained pianist and singer of 22 years, also a percussionist and sometime guitarist. After doing a 9-month stint with Grateful Dead cover band the Jugband , completing a 2006 summer tour with Doug Wyatt , and gigging solo for a while, I am taking a bit of a break from performing. I am currently focusing on composition, am mastering some old recordings so I can release "The Songbird Sessions" sometime in 2008, and am teaching students again. When I am ready to come back out, I will inevitably be looking to collaborate, style and instruments varying.
Passions:
- being a conscious, kind, patient and loving mother
- protecting and restocking the environment, sustainable living, free energy, organic food, nutrition, cuisine & cooking
- free/shared information, technology, Apple computers
- quantum physics, metaphysics, string theory, higher math, philosophy, and so on
- revolution for world healing, psychotropic study as mind expansion
- the fine arts including: sketching, painting, multi-media collage
- Zen meditation and study, hatha/tantra/karma yoga
- living and breathing and many things inbetween
Ultimately, I would like to live out my tenure on the earth as the most responsible steward I can, doing more good than harm, doing as much as I can to help and heal, and communicate effectively and lovingly for the benefit of all. Let's work together.
