For those of you who knew me back in the day, I've probably changed a lot. I'm married (Reyna), have 2 sons (Demitrius and Kyros), 2 dogs (Lady and Julietta) and work for "the man" (Microsoft). Who would have thought!You can see pics of my family in the gallery, and I have a few old videos uploaded as well (need to add some more). That is it for now!
Anyhow, here is a bit more about myself....I dig laid back lounges, art galleries, museums and the Zoo (when its not too hot outside). I prefer live music when its around and listen to everything from Triphop and old school hip-hop to Latin Rock/Funk, Spoken Word, Metal, Jazz...Pretty much anything funky...
I love martial arts of all types and have tried out everything from Go-Ju Ryu, Capoeira, MMA, Aikido and event Ninjutsu. However at the moment I'm just a martial arts entusiast (which means my lazy ass isn't doing squat).
I haven't been reading much for leisure lately, as I'm working on my my dissertation for my PhD. My focus is on cross cultural leadership in virtual organizations. I am specifically examining the effects of language, culture and leadership preferences on the relationship between virtual team leaders and their followers...so most of my time is spent working on my literature review, which consists mainly of journal articles on cross cultura leadership and communication, as well a cultural intelligence and of course management in virtual environments. Fun stuff! :)
I do have a nice library though with everything from Satre to Krsnamurti to Sumerian Mythology and UFO's to Karl Marx to Bill Gates. I like to be well rounded I guess :)
Finally, I'm supporting Barack Obama for president (in case you couldn't tell by my profile), and I encourage you all to check out his site and see what he stands for. He is an inspirational leader, and I believe he can bring our country together (red and blue) and finally get us out of the shitty state that the Bush regime has brought us to.
