About Me

I'm a 25 year old singer songwriter from Plymouth in Devon. I'm currently living in Southsea, Hampshire where I run a really cool pub. I long for the day that I can give up my day job and just play music but until then I'm lucky enough to do a job a really enjoy and work with people that are pretty freekin' sweet.I went to university at De Montfort in Leicester, where I learnt a lot about life, love and even the Media (I did Media Studies). I think it's probably the best University in the world because I don't think I met anyone there whose priority was their degree. It was all about the partying from start til finish. Some might say this is why I now run a pub and not the BBC but I prefer to see it as a lifestyle choice and I think my life is pretty cool, so there.

My Interests

Music, beer, skate-boarding, salsa, sitting around in my pants, being rude to people and getting away with it, saying yes to things.

Music:

I rather love lots of music because after all music is great I play my own music with a kind of chilled out some times funky some times bluesey some times woosey edge that I find most pleasing. See what you think and be sure to let me know. My influences and inspriartions are fairly varied but this is the sort of stuff I've been mostly listening to of late, Jack Johnson, James Taylor, The Martin Harley Band (coz money don't matter), Donavon Frankenreiter, Jill Scott, Hard Fi, Nina Simone, Animal Liberation Orchestra, Van Morrison, Groove Armada, Bassment Jaxx, Ben Harper, Corrine Bailey Rae, India Arie, Stephen Fretwell, Seth Lakeman, Damien Rice,Jimmy Luxury, Jurassic 5, Gomez. I've been lucky enough to play a bit in and around Portsmouth UK recently and have had the honour of sharing the bill with such local legendS as Kate Smith, Rossco, Paddy, The Master and many more. Thanks guys for your friendship, support and encouragment.

Heroes:

James Taylor (he's always had my ear), Tony Adams (strong and straight forward), Jack Johnson (my life has been better since Brushfire Fairytales came into it), Thierry Henry (if you've seen him live, you'll understand), My Mum and Dad for very different reason.
