Some Wait Forever was founded by Jimmy NaNa, former guitarist of Ray Gordon and In Question in mid 2006, with the addition of drummer Brady T and Colin W in 2007. "Some Wait Forever (SWF) was formed in the summer of 2006 when lead singer and guitarist Jimmy NaNa wanted to take his musical career in a different direction. Soon after, Bassist Austin H. and Drummer Brady W. were added to the line up. The band is moving in the right direction. 'We think every song sounds different from the last' says Jimmy, 'Someone once told us we sound like Jack Johnson meets electric guitars!'
