"SUPER AWESOME EXITEMENT" Hey guys How ya doin?!!!!!!! My name is Anthony "YEP" my life pretty much consists of playing lots of music, listerning to lots of music and surfing untill my skin peels off...... I started playing drums at the age of thirteen performing in bands of many different genres, Throughout most of my High school years i found myself always participating in as much music as possible (and usually the least amount of homework as possible) anything from thetre to jazz workshops to rock bands i was always mega into it In 1998 I won Best Musical Performance at Parkdale Secondary College also competing in the Rockestedford and various other battle of the band style activities. By the age of 17 I had started playing with a whole bunch of older musicans wich was very inspiring.. 2002 I attended JMC academy of music winning Most Outstanding Performer of the year... After completing a few years of study I spent most of my days working, surfing and playing gigs for different bands at clubs, pubs all around Melbourne and Australia doing my first interstate tour in 2003 with rock outfit NEVERELEVEN, followed by continuous giging throughout 2004..... In 2005 NEVERELEVEN released the worlds first E.P on a USB memory stick.... after radio play an interstate tour and a sell out show at the Palace we were pretty happy with our first attempt at getting out there we also had our film clip for the single BUCKET LOVE on high rotation on rage for a while..... 2006 At this time I was also working with singer/songwriter AUSTIN who i met at JMC academy, playing our first gig together at Austins debut E.P launch in Geelong with Johnathan Zion on bass. For the next year or so played many gigs and festivals all round the state with both AUSTIN and NEVERELEVEN such as Queenscliff Music Festival/ Porland Bay Music Festival/Amped winter festival/ Good Seed Festival etc.... alongside with artists such as Jeff Lang ,Blue King Brown,Dallas Frasca,Liz Stringer,Carus,Ash Grunwald,Kisschassy,Something With Numbers,Bob Brozman and many more.... Early 2007 after a succsessful audition I began working with an 8 piece funk outfit called PABLODISCOBAR playing my first ever gig with them at a jewish wedding (wich was a blast "so much fun").. followed up by constant gigs, tours and supporing bands such as WATUSSI and UK jazz legends INCOGNITO.... Also playing as the headline act for THE INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL at the Hifi bar and a ten day resedency performing everyday at THE MELBOURNE INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL featuring a performances on The Sunday Arts Show (SBS) and on channel tens Today show.... In June 2007 we did our first ever International Tour (PABLODISCOBAR) traveling to Canada and performing headline shows in most major cities on the east coast,west coast and central Canada including a live perfomance on Canada's CTV (its like the mtv of canada) and playing at the NORTH BY NORTHEAST MUSIC CONFERENCE in Toronto.... After completing the Canada tour I spent some time galavanting around the world staying in New York City for 8 days (wich was amazing) then to return home mid july for a short but very productive Interstate tour across Australia perfoming sell out shows at the MAKAY ARTS FESTIVAL and various gigs across Qld ,Nsw and Victoria with PABLODISCOBAR, whilst also performing separate live shows with both NEVERELEVEN AND AUSTIN...... I feel very privliged to be able work with all these amazing muscians I really dig playing all different types of music so working in three bands of total different styles and genres is really exiting for me!!!!!!!! so have a listen I guess..... and I hope you like what you hear....... lets see what the future's got in stall PEACE.........
