In the past 18 months, alot has changed. I realized that i wanted to focus more on my original music. Took the next (and essential) steps towards achieving my short term goal of releasing an original EP. I completely uprooted...left my family, friends, comfort zone and support network in Perth to move interstate to Melbourne. Came out of a long term and long distance relationship. Immersed myself in my music...and in different aspects of other music. Met some amazing people. Found somebody to love. All of which has created alot of new writing material and definitely helped me to improve as a songwriter! :)
I really am dedicated to developing my song writing and creating music with depth and meaning, that truly reflects me and who I am as an artist. The Melbourne music scene is pretty amazing, there is some awesome talent out there. Discovering new genres, refining what i am doing and keeping an open mind is what i am continuing to do all the time.
So now here i am. Am i where i want to be? Have i grown as much as i think? Will i get to where my mind can see? The only thing i know for sure is that i can't wait for what the future holds.
