Atlanta’s emergent Hip Hop scene is home to some key players who are shaping entertainment and Hip Hop cultures worldwide. DJ Princess Cut, aka Sweet Box Jones, is a female at the forefront of this Hip Hop movement in Atlanta. She is the most respected female DJ in the southeast and has rocked venues from Las Vegas to South Carolina and all around the world. In 2007, Princess Cut, also the official DJ for the group Outlawz, helped to satisfy fans on their "2Pac Still Breathing" international tour. While on tour, Princess Cut played for crowds in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and numerous cities in Australia. Locally, Princess Cut has rocked many of the top clubs in Atlanta, including Sugar Hill, Motions, The House, Sugar, Cafe La Vaca, Django, The Royal, Earthlink Live, Vinyl, Scores, Frequency, J.R. Billiards, Lequora/Zion, Libra, Sutra Lounge and the world famous Magic City. Princess Cut has also held residencies at 702 in Las Vegas and Big K's in South Carolina. Besides rocking clubs and nightlife venues, Princess Cut hosted a successful radio show for WSTI FM and various events for brands like Boost Mobile, Adidas, Neiman Marcus, Victoria Secrets and Saks Fifth Avenue. In 2006, Princess Cut was featured on an episode of MTV's "My Super Sweet 16" as the celebrity DJ. Princess Cut is a shining star in the Hip Hop DJ scene. She remains active and visible while steadily increasing her credibility as a DJ.
