Charles Collabo has been around awhile. Old Mule Theory, CoLabo, and Random Haus dominated the experimental hip-hop scene of northern New England during the early 00s. Unfortunately there wasn't much of a scene. There are well over 100 mix tapes of various performances and late night recordings, most of them are still in existence somewhere, however, they remain trapped on their medium, the cassette tape. Members of those infamous groups have now gone on to other projects and what you hear here is one man trying to find a groove.---These recordings were made with a $20 Radio Shack mic on a low end laptop, never intended for music making. He makes due. Some day Charles will make enough to have better equipment, or better yet, make new friends with a desire to record him on their fancy digs.---
