Myspace LayoutsChris O'Rear is currently pursuing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Alabama studying voice with Dr. Susan Fleming. His repertoire is varied and spans a wide spectrum covering art song, opera, and oratorio. He appears often around the southeastern region both as a recitalist and soloist. Presently his energies are spent on preparation of a performance of "Winterreise" in its entirety for his final recital at the University. Other upcoming performances include two appearances with the University's premier choral group as the baritone soloist in Carmina Burana.
