CATHOUSE CREEPERS where formed in jan 2004,by martyn,darren and richie(who as now left the trio),martyn has been playing bass in bands since 1982,first with a trio called "RED CADILLAC",then "WILDWIND",who made 1xe.p. on there own label in 1986,1x L.P. on ROCKHOUSE records in holland in 1990 and 1x c.d. for RAUCOUS records called "jump about and boogie" in 1997,martyn also play's bass for "PHIL HALEY AND HIS COMMENTS",DARREN has been playing since about the time,his first band was the "JUVIES",who made 1 x L.P. for RAGE records in 1990 called "playing hookie",since then he's been in various bands,in cluding,lenny & the M.G'S ,plasma etc...he also started along with richie(our first drummer)the CAT PACK big band,who had 2x c.d. released on RAUCOUS the first EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A CAT and T'AINT WHAT YOU DO,darren wrote all the original song's on the CAT PACK c.d.'s,OLY the youngest of the trio(23),was in a school big band then in a band called spiral frank(not rockabilly).Since forming cathouse creepers have had a bit of good luck,firstly getting 2 supports for STRAY CATS on there 2004 reunion tour,manchester appolo and london brixton academy,then RAUCOUS liked the demo and did a full c.d. "FAST LANE",then they got offerd the support with lee rocker in july 05' for his 3 uk gig's and this year they did the support at bradford rio's with slim jim phantom trio.
this year has been really busy playing all over the country,some good gig's where at the hope and anchor in islington london,the dublin castle camden london.the ace cafe,london,the charlotte in leicester with,levi dexter,restless,long tall texans,and in nov munich,germany with the tri sonics.
who know's what will happen next,but what ever does we'll have a good time
and play real ROCKABILLY!!!!!!!!!!!.
