Blue Denim

Blue Denim has been hitting pubs and clubs now for 2 years and leaving their mark every venue they play. Within 2 years Blue Denim has toured most of Australia and has been invited to play at VLV 10 next year in 2007.Blue Denim started out as just 2 guys sitting in a garage playing some old Elvis, gene vincent and Carl Perkins tunes.After a little while Brad and his good mate Dennis decided it was time to get a band together. not being able to find a bass player Brad put his hand up and said ill have a go and has'nt looked back since making a name for him self in the Rockabilly scene as a decent bass player you catch Brad quite often filling in for other bands such as Lonesome Train,The All Mightys,Flamming Star,& Get up and GO you can also hear Brad playing rythme guitar on some of Blue Denims tracks. Blue Denim started off as a 3 piece Brad(Bass & Vocals)Dennis (Lead Guitar) Joe (Drums) and then after awhile the singing became to much for Brad as he was still learning how to play bass and trying to sing as well so Brad called on a good mate Aaron (Mustard) Keenan. After a huge response Blue Denim started gigging every weekend and became to much for Joe & Dennis so they decide to leave the band to be with thier families,so a drummer and guitarist was needed Brad's Brother Ken would help out on a few gigs from time to time but was never wanting to join the band as he was already bashing the skins with a kick arse rock band The Underdogs.Rodney (Pepe) Enriquez came into the band (Former Rock cat rock) on guitar and the band hit a new level. A CD was Recorded with Ken filling in on drums the album was called Cool Cats Cry and at wintersun 2005 was almost sold out of print in 4 hours.After the Wintersun HIGH Kenny (The Animal) Decides he's in the band much to our delight.But then another lose to the band Rodney Enriquez is offered a job at his work that he can't refuse so need's to leave the band. Blue Denim is now on a low. Till we meet (after advertising in drum media) with Eric (Shuffles)Hall and this guy just blew us away. so now the band is one and is set to hit even newer heights. With Brad (Switchblade) Hayman on Bass & Vocals Aaron (Mustard) Keenan on Vocals Kenny ( The Animal) Hayman on Stand up Drums Eric (Shuffles) Hall on Lead Guitar the band has never sounded better and cant wait to show the yanks how the Aussies ROCK!!!!!And now Just A Cartoon Blue Denims 2nd album has also sold out almost in 1 weekend.(Thanks to Wintersun 2006) Rockabilly & Jump Bop Blues it not just music to these cool kats its a kulture its a life style the passion that you see in these guys at every gig is prove that these guys really love what they do.Blue Denim is really starting to make a name for them selves in the past 2 years to tour most of Australia have sold out of 2 albums and to be invited to play the 10 anniversary at VLV is damm good going in my books.
