About Me

My current job is Executive in Charge of Original Programming, Interactive Entertainment at CBC Television. Sound long and confusing?
I've made three feature films as a writer and director. The most recent was THE MAD, a comedy kinda - horror spoof. It was recently featured on the cover of Gore Zone, the top U.K. horror mag and just played at the Pather City Horror Show in Texas which sounds like a blast and I wish I'd been there. THE MAD on MYSPACE is the place to see the trailer, read some reviews and write us about the film.
LOVE IS WORK is the other film I made that came out this year... very different than THE MAD. It opened in theatres across Canada in June 07 and is doing well. If you're interested in that one, check out LOVE IS WORK on MYSPACE .

I'm very lucky to do what I've done and what I'm doing right now... and I'm grateful for it all the time.
And now...
I love music and film and animation and writing and reading and graphic novels and internet and dramatic people and things.
I like working with people from all over, so let me know what your into and maybe we can get something going.
I want to make an animated film and a music film.johnnykalangis.com
