About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

At the moment, I'd like to play guitar like Micky Jupp and Chuck Berry. I'd like to sing in a band. I want to make electronic music too. I would like to be DJing more. I want to do a night in London with someone. Anyone interested get in touch.

My Interests

Music, Football, Fashion, Trainers (No Re-issues), Cooking, Bugged Out!, Djing, A Too, dancing (popping, locking, tutting and waving - funk styles) At the moment, I'd like to play guitar like Micky Jupp and Chuck Berry. I'd like to sing in a band. I want to make electronic music too. I would like to be DJing more. I want to do a night in London with someone. Anyone interested get in touch.

Music:

Dancing and DJing: Anything that makes me move and gives me goosebumps on the back of my neck. Four beats on the floor in any spectrum. Usually involves authentic disco from NY, gay black pre disco, Philly soul, Northern soul, Jazz funk/disco crossover, 80s disco boogie, P funk (music for popping), classic funk (music for locking), electro funk (ealry 80s), proto house (combination of styles precursor to house), hip house and old hip hop, Chicago house (old to new), Detroit techno to re-emergence of detroit techno (Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig), acid house (303 to hypnotic to warp/nightmares on wax), deep/funke house (Inland Kinights, Rhythm Plate, Theo Parrish), french house, to tech house (with splashes of minimal)electro house and electroclash - most stuff associated with Bugged Out! Listening: The above + psychedelic rock (Groundhogs), Japanese garage rock (kuni Kawachi, Sunflower band, Speed Glue and Shinky), avant garde rock (Beefheart), folk rock (Neil Young, Grateful Dead), the Blues (Howlin Wolf and Lightnin Slim), Indie (more Madchester/soulful than post punk, everybody wears tight jeans and converse all stars stuff), jazz and gypsy jazz (Reinhardt), funky dub (Lee Perry, Dillinger), some classical...complex rhythmic stuff like Stravinsky. Aim to incorporate the odd rhythms under the influence of Stravinsky, Beefheart and the like with Blues elements and put a four on the floor behind to make it deep and danceable.
