About Me

So, let you tell me you alittle about myself. For those reading this who are wondering where I got the nickname 'Rampage' from, let me explain. Around 10 years ago I used to do alot of graffiti pieces in and around London, and that used to be my alias. But with age, my directing ambition became my main focus. Also the fact that alot of the writers I knew were getting caught for their art, I decided it was time to go with another form of artist expression. I remember wanting to be a film director since the age of eight, and I'm glad to be finally kick starting my career. I have been freelancing in the film industry for four years now, working as a production runner on commercials, music videos and short films. Now, don't get this twisted, as I'm not at all arrogant. But I can convidently say that am dedicated to becoming one of the BEST music video and feature film directors to come of this country, and I'm going to make sure that quote becomes reality!!!! So if you are looking for someone to direct your video, feel free to contact me and we can talk business. I have videos in pre and post production SO PLEASE CHECK THIS LINK FOR REGULAR UPDATES of the next few weeks, thanks. I AM LOOKING TO SET STANDARDS FOR BRISTISH HIP HOP/GRIME VIDEOS...The music/culture I identify with most is Jungle/Drum'n'Bass. I have been a follower since I was 11 years old back in 1992. I used to steal (I mean Borrow) my brother's Kool FM tapes and since then I have been addicted to it, trust me!! Big shout to the Eastman, Funky Flirt and all the Kool FM family for 16 years of long, hard work. The other forms of music I listen to is old Reggae/Ska from the early 60's upward. Coming from a Carriabean background that is just standard (just like the doing the 'one foot skank', ha). Rock music from the 60s-70s, abit of Classical music. I am also I great follower of Hip Hop, I like both East Coast and West Coast artists Like The Game, Dr. Dre, M&M , (older) Mobb Deep I could go on...But also I am a fan of British Hip Hop, with my favourite artist being Lowkey. If you don't know about this young man GET EDUCATED!! Also Grime/Eski, I am really into this music as it's the true sound of the underground and the 'voice' of the inner city youth (which is something that always gets drowned out by the media). I've been into this music since the garage days and when it began to change back in 2001. I Like the fact it's is such a fresh sound with not alot of barriers. And the fact people are not relying on the big labels to see they capablity!! It's alllll about opening your own doors and being indepedent (D.I.Y.)!!!! plain layout @ HOT FreeLayouts.com

But I like to keep up to date and the levels of music videos and keep a like out for the 'competition'.

Books:

Redemption, All Crews, Mayor Of Casterbrige, Cat's Eye, 9 Lives

Heroes:

My all time hero is Martin Luther King Jnr. As that man (like many others) has done so much for the Black community!! The things that man went though just to be treated like a HUMAN BEING IS REDICULOUS, and this was LESS than 40 YEARS ago!!!!!!!!!!!! And if you don't know about him, after you have finished reading my page, do alittle research on him as it will very rewarding. He is a great inspiration to me because no matter what society did to him, he stay determined and focus and what acheived changed the world...And Snoop Dogg as he is true to his background, but still remains a successful businessman and a wicked artist. Tupac of course, as the man is a lyrical GENIUS!! Quentin Tarantino, as he is a great storyteller & has changed Hollywood in a very short space of time (regardless of people my say, HE DID!!). Spike Lee, Michael Mann, Hype Williams, Paul Hunter and Martin Scorsese- standard!!
