Im Kelly from Harlow - hello everyone.....
Im now 30 years old, so lets go back to my younger years....Well after taking 36 hours to come into this world all them years ago I grew up in Harlow, went to skool, then to college to train as a chef for 4 years, got all the certificates and can even own my own pub if I want but think that would be a bad idea!
As I was doing all this I got into some wicked music and listened to a number of pirate stations including Defection,rude, Rush,Rince, Sunrise, Unity Radio and others! they were playing old skool hardcore and jungle, "OH WOW" I thought this is the way forward, the beats, the style grabbed hold of me and wanted to find out more!!! the more I got into, and knew tunes from tunes I tuned into a new station, cant remeber how I got there but to me Kool FM was born and this began a love affair,..... we would go round my mates and try to mix tunes, but never got the hang of it, but sure it was my teachers fault ! haha, big up Stu Black. Started going raving when I was about 15 sneaking in to raves with my cousin, I remember one of the 1st raves I went to was the Wag club, morning after club and then that was the start of the Kool / Jungle Fever raves and it all kicked off from there.Kelly, harlow was showing love for the wicked music that had blessed my life. I went to every Kool rave and Jungle Fever, and still have all the flyers! (Apart from about 3), but then that was a dark part of me life, so nuff said! Anyway, I met my 1st proper boyfriend thru Kool FM, the mighty Smiley from Tottenham. Years passed, but I still locked on to Kool, then went traveling around the world for a year or so.. to Oz, Thailand, most of Europe and the USA, then had to come back to reality.... I worked my tits off in hotels, restaurants in London trying to get my career sorted and after 10 years I work for De Vere hotels just off regent st as a sous chef, training to be a head chef, so I think Ive done quite well concidering it is a mans world in the kitchen. And here we have it,, Im still raving,...more than ever! still cooking and travelling the world, got a few places left to go but hope to get there before its to late, haha.
