Ash Williamson - Director - Aborted Films - Sigmoid Colon
Wayne was wonderful to work with, a consummate professional who braved the worst we could throw at him. We almost choked him with smoke, we almost gave him trenchfoot from a river, but Wayne managed to keep going and put in a fantastically charismatic performance as the River Wizard. Comical in his role and great fun to work with, a warm and friendly personality and one of the best characters we have worked with at Aborted Films

Klemens Czyzydlo - Writer/Director - Northern Film School - Ten Years Later
Wayne Russell played a Gangster in Ten Years Later, a Northern Film School Production. His physical appearance (6ft tall, 18st, deep voice) made him a perfect candidate for this role, and his performance was really great - naturalistic, expressive (but never "over the top"), instinctive.Working with Wayne was definitely a good experience; he is friendly, very professional, and above all, absolutely passionate about acting. He is a versatile and talented actor, and I would recommend him for all kinds of film, television or stage productions with no hesitation. Personally, I am looking forward to working with him again in the future on another film project.

Steven Bradley - Owner/Director - Aborted Films - Smoker Island
To Whom It May Concern,Aborted Films have worked with a large selection of actors over the years. We have worked with actors from everything including Coronation Street to Shameless. I, Steven Bradley, owner of Aborted Films can honestly say that I have never come across an actor as naturally gifted as Wayne. He is an actor that you would expect to be a well known TV veteran. Wayne has a talent that will make anyone within a mile stand still and watch him. From a directorial point of view he is also a pleasure to work with as he is very responsive to direction and will improve your own vision every time. It was an undoubted honour to work with Wayne and I hope we get to work together again very soon.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I love meeting fellow actors and performers who get the same buzz from entertaining that I do. My hope is that as more people see what I can do that somebody out there will give that all important break.

Music:

I have a wide taste in music from 60's and 70's stuff up to trance and classic rock. Basically if it has a tune I will listen to it. I don't like rap and am not really keen on punk.

Movies:

My favourite movies are not necessarily the ones I enjoyed the most but those that compelled me to watch them.
Braveheart, The Saving of Private Ryan, Schindlers List, The Green Mile, Jurassic Park and The Exorcist would be my top 5.

Television:

Any Good Murder Mystery - Inspector Morse, Wexford and Wycliffe are my favourites. I am also hooked on Deal or No Deal.

Books:

Captain Correllis Mandolin, The Devil Rides Out, Jamaica Inn and all the Stephen Booth books - how about that for an assortment
