About Me

Music and Sports are my two main passions. To me there's no bigger rush then a great song. I love music that conveys emotion, whatever the genre. I'm also a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings, L.A. Lakers, and N.Y Mets. All my closest friends know that I'm closed on Sunday's during football season, lol.I'm also a great supporter and lover of "real people". If you're real I'll ride with you but if I find out you're a fake, then I have no love for you. Never mistake my passion or belief in you as ignorance. My one pet peeve is beautiful hands and manicured nails on a young lady, that's a major attraction to me. I also love anything thought provoking, be it a person, a book, movie, etc;.Raised in the Bronx, influenced by reggae, calypso, Top 40 and most of all hip hop I got my feet wet in the late 80's as an intern at Bayside Sound Studios in Queens, New York. I was actually answering phones and sweeping floors as the Salt-n-Pepa megahit "Push-It" was being recorded. Working in one of the hottest studios in New York allowed me to meet a lot of people and learn the basics of recording. A few years later, after relocating to LA to work with Ice-T and The Rhyme Syndicate, I was signed to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. While writing and making beats for artist like Ice-T, Donald-D, etc; I had the pleasure of going on tour with platinum artist "Hi-Five" doing drum programming, moving equipment, whatever was necessary to stay out on the road, get experience and chase groupies, lol. Along with working with legendary producer Richard Perry (Rod Steward, The Temptations, etc;) these are some of my greatest musical experiences. I'm currently involved in different aspects of the business such as talent scouting, songwriting, management, etc;. Most recently I just partnered up with a noted industry veteran to form a new publishing and song shopping company. I'm currently looking for great artist and writers in all genres to possibly be a part of several upcoming projects or for song placements in film, tv, etc,. Through out the years I've been very fortunate to maintain many long, lasting relationships with a lot of the good people in the business. To me integrity is everything!. If you don't have your word, you don't have anything!.Finally, in case you didn't know, yes Neil Diamond stays on heavy rotation at the crib!
