About Me

The League is trying to put the party back into politics. Our mission is to engage pissed off young people in the democratic process to build a progressive governing majority in our lifetime.It started with a book called "How to Get Stupid White Men Out of Office." Then came a massive Get-Out-the-Vote effort in 2004 and indyvoter.org a social networking site for activists.Now the League is building regional chapters to keep young people involved in politics, put down some local roots, and throw some kick ass parties along the way.Join us and other activists in the St. Louis area as we pool our resources and talents and make our voices heard!I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

Oh, you know, revolution, smashing the system, going underground...other things like quality education, immigration reform, movie nights, taking down Wal Mart, making voter guides, beer, affordable and equitable healthcare, bringing honesty and integrity to politics, the usual

I'd like to meet:

We are a group of dynamic and motivated young people who organize young voters and issue campaigns nationwide. We work in 16 cities and use 5 strategies in order to build a permanent field campaign and progressive majority in our lifetime. We are always looking for folks who are willing to:1. ENGAGE young people who are shut out of the political process.2. TRAIN them to be sophisticated organizers in their own communities.3. BUILD a multi-racial, multi-issue alliances.4. LOBBY at the local, state and national level.5. ORGANIZE voters, support candidates, and hold them accountable until they are in office.I think it is safe to say that we are the sophisticated voting and lobbying arm of the progressive youth movement.
