DUB V a.k.a. DUBY a.k.a. 9

With over 10 years behind the decks DUB V (a.k.a. DJ 911) is no stranger to the mix. His musical influence began at an early age playing saxophone and dj-ing middle school dances. In high school he became more influenced by percussion and switched off between playing saxophone, drums, and keyboards. After high school he managed to pick up his first set of turntables and started mixing hip-hop. He got into the habit of making his own mix tapes at home and then playing them at clubs that he dj'ed at when there were no tables to mix with. He soon got into producing hip-hop beats and around 1995-1999 he hooked up with the hip-hop group "Kamp Kelemal" (camp kill em all) and released the single "Money Seems" on the Midwest Funk Vol. 3 compilation cd out of Columbus, OH, through the Ratti Records indie label. Progressing even further Dub got hooked on EDM and started spinning different styles of house music and soon settled into Drum N Bass all the while keeping his influences meshed into his production. He's worked with several squads in the state including: Booty Basics, Lovelab, Diversive, & A.M. P.M. Entertainment. His current projects include a weekly radio shows on Techno.fm 21-23 GMT (6-8 PM EST) every Wednesday and Aftershock Radio 18-20 GMT (1-3 PM EST) Every Friday.
