His aim was to get emcee's, dj's, b boy's, b girl's, Graffitti Artists from the lower suburbs of East Christchuch, to get together, and help them change their ways of crime and giving them a chance to do somthing with their lives - something to keep them outta trouble. Before, Mic Wreck 2true was on his own rapping about the streets and where he's from - A-town (better known as Aranui), and about his life with a dad that was less then a father, and what he'd seen his mum and his older brother go through, and he was in and out home from the age of 12. So what do you think he did at that age?? With nothing else to do, he went to house party's, was stealing cars, robbing house's, doing over dairy's, shop-lifting and on the road to no where - FAST. That was until an old friend of his, that he used to look up to. asked him if he had ever thought about making music. 2 was keen so they went to his bro's house and Kazium started banging out beats. 2 was feeling them but didnt no how to rhyme at that time so he got 2pac lyric's and rapped them out and gradually started to change the word's. Then the next week, Kazium got 2 to write his own rap's and recorded a song called "all around the world in 1999". 2 took the tape that they recorded on a lil old 4 track and played it to his friends @ school and by the end of the day everyone was asking for copies and thats were it started for 2true .
