I am the one called "The Land of the Free", "The Home of the Brave", I am the United States of America! My official bithdate was July 4, 1776, when 56 men signed a document· That document was none other than The Declaration of Independence! The begining of this most important document states the most important part of The United States of America! Which states, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." My country is one of Freedom. Althought their are laws that govern it, my people have the freedon to vote for their leader, the freedon of speech and many many more freedoms that come with being a legal citizen of this great land. This land took many battle, years and lives for it to be able to function as a free country. The ones that live here reserve the right to call it their home. Their ancesters are the ones that died to make it the way that it is today. Many people do not understand the gravity of the situation. Now, all that was done to make this nation what it is today is being threatened by outsiders that hate the USA for what it has. FREEDOM! Our very soul has been hit apon once again and killed many people that did not deserve to die. Our borders are being threatened by my neighbors. Old Glory is being displayed on the streets of America below the Mexican flag, upside down. The people of this great nation need to stand up for what they believe in. Your ancesters lost their lives to be able to gain the freedom that is here today. Now our neighbors in the south are wanting to take that away. Our forfathers gave their lives for freedom, and now, the southern country of Mexico is trying to take that away. DO NOT let them. The government of this great nation is their for a reason. They will not act till the full of the country gets involved. Do not sit and wish that something will happen and this will all go away. It will not till u act. Stand up for what u believe in. Once united, always United. The attacks on this great nation united the USA in a way that has never been seen. Lets reunite, and take care of the issues at hand. Everyone has a say so in the way that this Great Land is run. Unite together, and make a stand!!
