The Werewolf Song
by Michael Hurley
Oh the werewolf, oh the werewolf
Comes a steppin along
He dont even break the branches
Where hes been gone
You can hear his long holler from away cross the moor
Thats the holler of a werewolf when hes feelin poor
He goes out in the evenin when the bats are on the wing
An he's killed some young maiden before the birds sing
For the werewolf, for the werewolf
Have sympathy
cause the werewolf he is someone
Just like you an me
Once I saw him in the moonlight when the bats were a flyin
All alone I saw the werewolf and the werewolf was cryin
Cryin nobody, nobody, nobody knows
How much I love the maiden as I tear off her clothes
Cryin nobody, nobody, knows of my pain
When I see it has risen that full moon again
When I see that moon movin through the clouds in the sky
I get a crazy feelin an I wonder why
Oh the werewolf, oh the werewolf
Comes travelin along
He don't even break the branches
Where hes been gone
For the werewolf have pity, not fear, and not hate
cause the werewolf might be someone that you've known of late
Oh the werewolf, oh the werewolf
Comes travelin along
He dont even crush the leaves
Where hes been gone

Spooky Film Fest: A Slashing Good Time
Sunday, October 7, 2007; Page N06
For a mere $20, you can see 26 short- and feature-length horror movies this coming weekend.
This bloodlustful deal is brought to you by the second annual Spooky Movie Film Festival at the Cinema Arts Theatre in Fairfax. The festival starts Friday with a grindhouse feature (two films and four shorts) and will end Oct. 14 with the U.S. theatrical premiere of the Japanese film "Carved: The Slit-Mouthed Woman."
Count Gore De Vol will host the grindhouse feature at the annual festival.
The highlight of the schedule surely will be Saturday's 11:50 p.m. showing of "Der Golem," a 1920 silent movie. Baltimore musician Bobogolem will provide a live score, playing upright bass, banjo, violin and theremin, among other instruments.
Films by local talent include "The Dollhouse," "Blood Bound" and "Werewolf on PCP." With titles like those, how can you resist?

I found this flyer on The Chumps Myspace page. I'm pretty sure it's from 1978. My old band, The Raisinets were in this show (we are listed above Bad Brains, HA HA HA!!!). I believe this was Bad Brains 2nd show, definitely their 1st outside of DC. I remember liking their music but what I remember most was the singer wearing women's panties over his leather pants & instead of letting them end up where they may (they were falling down), he kept coyly pulling them up between & even during songs to maintain a more professional "panites over leather pants" look!!! @ this point in our careers, my band, The Raisinets, was famous for our medley of that awful Foreigner song Hot Blooded (a hit @ the time) & the ancient traditional childrens' song Hot Cross Buns. In our set list, we referred to this as Hot Bloodied Buns!!! The Chumps were an excellent band, they had a song called Gorgo that I LOVED!!! If you missed them you missed a lot!!! Come to think of it, we all fuckin' rawked!!!
