The Frontier Restaurant has happily served the Albuquerque area and the University of New Mexico community since 1971.The Frontier Restaurant is more of an experience than just a restaurant. It is at the heart of the University of New Mexico and is the only place in the city where the line for food is just as long at 9AM on Sunday morning as it was at 2:30AM the night before. The Frontier is best known not only for its John Wayne atmosphere but for its amazing New Mexican food, and Sweet Rolls.The Frontier is also the best place to meet up for a study group, best place in the city to put food in your stomach after a night tearing it up downtown, best place to visit to taste the best green chile any time of year, and the best place to meet your family for breakfast on Sunday morning!I'm serious when i say this is one of the best restaurants in the known World and I say to you, if you doubt me come on in and sample, The Tortillas, Top Chop Steak, Green Chile Stew, Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, NO.7 Western Omlette, The Frontier Sweet Roll, Western Hashbrowns, and the best damn orange juice in the city and you to will be riding on my band wagon.
