Damola's love for music was discovered at an early age, causing his parents to buy him his first keyboard as his 10th birthday present. He had the opportunity to be mentored from a very strong classical background as well as a contemporary base, later in life.
Damola's love for the bass grew strong from his early days after watching a Ron kenoly video in which he discovered his bass hero, Abraham Laboriel and got attracted by his funky groove and expressive characteristics, especially a bass solo on a track called ancient of days. He has since then picked up the bass about 10 years ago.
Damola currently is a session bass player, playing for various artists and bands, and is actively involved in studio work as well as live performances.
Damola has also recently played for Bruce, a multitalented musician and friend of bass hero, Abraham Laboriel, and they performed together at the Imperial College, London in a christian concert.
He also enjoys composing, directing and producing music and he is working on a number of musical endeavours at present.
Damola is always willing to undertake new challenges and opportunities, never too busy for new projects.
