CALLING ALL SHORT FILM MAKERS, DIRECTORS, VIDEO ARTISTS AND CAMCORDER ENTHUSIASTS!
MySpace has launched MyMovie MashUp in partnership with Vertigo Films .. a competition to find the best short film director on MySpace. The winner will get to direct a feature film with a budget of over £1 million with the film scheduled for theatrical release in 2008.
Entries will be judged by a distinguished panel of filmmakers and actors who will select five finalists. The finalists then face a public vote by millions of MySpace users to decide the ultimate winner. The lucky winning director will immediately begin production on their feature film..

Future Shorts is planning to launch its distribution sector soon.
Building on the success in creating one of the largest short film network in Europe, Future Shorts is planning to launch its distribution wing that will work in conjunction with it's exhibition wing to get short films seen by the widest possible audience.
Having created strong links with key buyers with broadcasters across the world we aim to get your film seen and talked about. Future Shorts catalogue will feature only the best in short film content form across the globe.
Future Shorts welcomes ground-breaking short films that explore and challenge the format with visually and emotionally compelling stories - narrative and "other".
