Veruschka Chandroo (meaning moon in english) a.k.a oni born in Los Angeles, California 1974 started writing and performing at a young age. Her talents include producing, songwriting, acting and D.Jing. Oni started developing her Talents while performing in Talent Shows and Musicals at a young age. She DJed at House Parties she was known to have on the weekend. She was also Bass Player for a popular All Girl Hard Rock Band P.M.S based in San Diego.
The only child of military parents. Oni found herself moving alot. Which resulted in her being influenced by many styles of Music. While staying in New York and Germany, she started to get into the electronic House Industrial techno sound. Where she developed her unique style. She quickly mastered the Art of sequencing and Programming using All the latest techniques for Computer Programming. Which very Few Female Artist can do.
One of the highlights of her career was the chance to Perform on stage at the popular Mojo Club with Fatbacksound System in Hamburg, Germany. Oni has been relaxing in Germany where she made an appearance in the popular Sitcom "Edel und Stark" and there she was hired by Fashion Designer Sudeep Kumar as a Fashion Display Model for Frizzante-Mode Fashion Clothes Line.
Her first public sucess in Germany was inviting Halle Berry the actress and Lambert Wilson , french actor of Matrix II. and the whole of Warner Entertainment Germany which was also present to enjoy the party located at Lago Bay Beach Club in St. Pauli-Hamburg, Germany the "unofficial premier party" of CATWOMEN. Look out for Oni and her Electronic sound.
