About Me
This is one of the most unusual formations of Polish independent music. They have been playing since the mid 80s, their roots are punk, they have psychodelic and hardcore experience, and now added elements of free jazz and guitar avant-garde this is the music showpiece of these Polish off scene veterans. A fully conscious uncompromising nature and independence, eclectic character of their music, impetuousness during the gigs, all this makes up an adequate picture of what the band present.
Progrram are now promoting their latest album Blackmeat of W.B., released in September 2001 by Tone Industria, the publishing house created by the very musicians. The latest material gives us sounds of an impossible to label style. On the one hand, we have here aggressive, extremely broken sounds, and on the other, we can easily spot the elements of free rock, and some avant-garde and free jazz projects.An important event in their career was a tour of the USA in April 2002, when the band played in New York, Washington, Cleveland, Toledo and in many other cities.New album Autumn: how to use brain to find inner M* was released on November 30th, 2005. For the very first time so many noble and respected Polish independent, jazz, avant-garde and rock musicians greeted Progrram music:* Mazzoll (Arythmic Perfection, Pieces of Brain)
* Dominik Strycharski (Pulsarus, RH+)
* Maciek Miechowicz (Kobong, Nëuma)
* Alek Korecki (Tie Break, Tilt, Alek Korecki Quartet)
