I'd like to meet people who share my interests. Sorry, but I don't want to have sex with you.
I like old fart music from the 60's and 70's as well as classical and old jazz. Occasionally, I like newer stuff like Green Day, but I have to admit that's rare.
I love old movies. I knew I'd eventually outgrow current music, but I never expected that to happen with films. I have a lot of favorite actresses - Vivien Leigh, Sharon Tate, Grace Kelly, Natalie Wood, Audrey Hepburn, Gene Tierney, and Marilyn Monroe's to name just a few.
As I've gotten older, I watch very little television. These days, I never miss "Desperate Housewives" and "My Name is Earl." When possible in the mornings, I like to watch "Live with Regis and Kelly." I loved "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." I'm not a big fan of reality tv, but "Project Runway" sucked me in the second season. I predicted Chloe would be the winner. Okay, I've been meaning to update this. I really thought it was going to be Michael this year, but I was thrilled for Jeffrey. It was a pleasant surprise, and he deserved it. But the point is, I'm admitting I was wrong, okay? It doesn't matter, because none of you will read this anyway!
I read all kinds of things. I like bios and fiction. I also love the recent memoir trend. Augusten Burroughs rocks! John Irving's "The World According to Garp" is my favorite book. I also love "Gone with the Wind." I have a lot of signed books and several that belonged to the famous including: Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy, Joan Crawford, Marlene Dietrich, Gracie Allen, James Stewart. and Mary Pickford.
WC Fields, who I think was a comic genius. He's still a genius in all ways!
