Born Hector Perez in The Bronx in 1980 to a Puerto Rican mother and father, renaissance man Hec is an indisputable Hip Hop force from the streets, to the music video set, to the mic, all the way to the boardroom.
As President of Tha Fam Productions, the label he co-founded with childhood friend local rapper Mone aka Corona P and Uncle Jimmy.Created a buzz in the Underdog City (Erie, PA) that quenches the thirst of hungry hood riders and Females worldwide. As the catalytic tour-de-force behind Tha Fam Productions and the Brookside Crew. Hectic was the engine who got things and people to move, escalating the group to its respectful place in their city.
Following his debut performance on Tha Fam's Take Ova and Underdog City, which was quickly certified in the streets of Erie, PA. Hectic was ready to show the world his individual skills on center stage. Hectic is releasing his debut solo album, Time Iz Hectic in October of 2006, hoping to amplify Tha Fam Productions movement at lightening speed. With ill collaborations and real life confessions. Hectic’s single (Bout my doe) debuted at #1 on myspace and WERG 90.5 on (Love it or Shove it) in September 2006. Tha Fam's Take Ova and Underdog City sold over 2,000 copies within the 8 months of starting. Tha Fam Productions spawning three awesome singles in the shape of (THA TAKOVA) feat.Corona P, H-Dogg,(SUNRISE) feat. Mondoe, H-Dogg and the ever so loved (I WANNA KISS U).
Hectic has also currently been featured on countless projects including, JTeezy presents Exclusive fix vol.5 thru vol.14,Empire ent. presents The Beginning,DJ Primo (Still Starvin vol 1-4), DJ Kronic( Hit em hard pt.2) Buck (The official North disc)Konkrete Thoughtz (death do us part).Just to name a few.
What makes this guy a star in my eyes is that he is not stuck on one subject. He can make a female fall in love,have the block on smash,speak about his lif e and kids and make the club rock with no problem. Making his views about the gangsta entertainment world clear to young people can perhaps best be summed up when he says(I did my 4years upstate.
