About Me

One of these days I'm going to get off my ass and think of something good to type in this space.Personally, I think I'm just a very nice, funny, witty, but only slightly more than average intelligent guy.The only really new thing about me is that I've begun investing in the stock market. Now, before you start "ooohing" and "aaahing" and asking for stock tips, I've only been doing it for about a week (although I was up when I originally typed this, I am currently at a loss), so I'm still extremely new at this, and FAR from rich yet. I just know that I WILL be, eventually. So far it's been fun.

My Interests

Lots of general things. (More info to come as soon as I get off my lazy ass and type them.)

I'd like to meet:

People who aren't rude, negative, or excessively stupid. I'm not looking to actually "meet" anyone in the traditional sense since I AM married. If I meet someone from here in person inadvertently, or on purpose like at a trade show or anything, that's cool, too. Hot chicks with big boobs are always welcome, of course, either on here or in person. I don't think I'm any different from pretty much any other guy in that regard. (More info to come.)

Music:

In no particular order: Motörhead, Bad Religion, Johnny Cash, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Static-X, Rammstein, KMFDM, Metallica, Three Doors Down, The Trews, Slipknot, Prong, The Misfits, Minor Threat, The Forgotten Rebels, The Queers, Buddy Guy, The Exploited, AFI, Alice in Chains, Alkaline Trio, American Hi-Fi, Apartment 26, Audioslave, Arctic Monkeys, Black Sabbath, Black Crowes, Billy Talent, Bobnoxious, Buddy Guy, Pink Floyd, Cake, Creed, Danzig, David Wilcox, Death Cab For Cutie, Diamond Head, Die Krupps, Disturbed, The Donnas, Dope, The Doors, Dream Theatre, Dynamite Hack, Tommy Emmanuel, Econoline Crush, Eric Johnson, Evanescence, Eve 6, Fear Factory, Fall Out Boy, Fenix*TX, Filter, Finger Eleven, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, John Lee Hooker, The Killers, Alexisonfire, Hot Hot Heat, Fuel, George Thorogood, Pumpjack, Godsmack, Goldfinger, Good Charlotte, Good Riddance, Motley Crue, Green Day, Offspring, Havana 3AM, Headstones, Helmet, The Hives, Jimmy Eat World, Korn, Limblifter, Nashville Pussy, Nickelback, Nirvana, Oasis, Our Lady Peace, Ozzy Osbourne, Priestess, Pantera, Powerman 5000, The Ramones, Ratt, Rise Against, The Salads, Sevendust, Sex Pistols, Shadowy Men On a Shadowy Planet, Shinedown, Slayer, Smash Mouth, Smashing Pumpkins, Social Distortion, Soulfly, Sum 41, The Tea Party, Third Eye Blind, Thornley, Three Days Grace, Treble Charger, Weezer, Velvet Revolver, White Zombie, Danko Jones, SR-71, L7, The Strokes, My Chemical Romance...

Movies:

It's a little dated, but A Clockwork Orange is still my favourite movie. Others include Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (although I wish it stayed just a little closer to the books), Goodfellas, Road Warrior, Cool Hand Luke, Fresh, Touch of Evil, Get Shorty, Bad Boys (w/Sean Penn), Naked Gun, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, Planet of the Apes (1968), Blues Brothers, The Third Man, King Kong, Little Miss Sunshine, Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Casino, Bound, The Falcon and the Snowman, This is Spinal Tap, Walk Hard...

Television:

Arrested Development, Newsradio, Family Guy, American Dad, The Simpsons, South Park, NYPD Blue, Law and Order (and Law and Order SVU), Dr. Katz, Seinfeld, Action!, Mr. Show with Bob and David, Larry Sanders, The Twilight Zone, The Prisoner, Wonder Showzen, Spongebob Squarepants (it's funny!)...

Books:

Lord of the Rings is still my favourite, but some of my others would be A Clockwork Orange, Jurassic Park, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and Day of the Jackal. I just finished reading Give Me A Break by John Stossel, and I HIGHLY recommend it. Most recently read is The Motley Fool: You Have More Money Than You Think. It's basically a straight-forward and easy-to-read book on investing, and a REAL eye-opener.

Heroes:

Hugh Hefner.
