Il gruppo C_SIDE si è formato nel dicembre del 2002 nella città di Monfalcone, da una fusione di idee musicali tra Gabriele D'Alonzo e Gabriele Recluta, già amici in passato e legati da precedenti realtà musicali che hanno alimentato, a loro volta, la crescita reciproca ed il desiderio di “fare musicaâ€.La ricerca del sound della band è stata difficile a causa della diversità degli stili, ma dopo un’attenta selezione e ricerca di elementi, è stata trovata una voce particolare ed adatta al progetto, Francesca Salcioli, che aveva alle spalle conoscenze ed esperienze musicali adeguate ed in grado di trasmettere il flusso di idee per la scelta di suoni e arrangiamenti, uniti in seguito da Daniele Deiuri e David Movio, provenienti anch’essi da situazioni molto diverse, ma necessarie a dare il giusto impulso all’esperimento.Una volta raggiunto il sound ottimale, i C_SIDE hanno tentato la fortuna, partecipando il 7 Giugno al concorso musicale nazionale per band emergenti, POP&ROCK 2003, che li ha coronati vincitori, in palio la produzione/registrazione di un DEMO “Understandâ€. Al termine del successo, è giunta una piccola e locale produzione musicale ed artistica, e di seguito sono arrivate le prime interviste radio e i primi concerti anche oltre confine, in Slovenia (al Captain Hook", una discoteca del Casinò Perla di Nova Gorica). Nel settembre 2004 sono stati inoltre invitati come gruppo ospite all’edizione POP&ROCK 2004, tenutasi nella città di origine della band.
Altri concerti al "Barcolana Live Festival" 2005, "Sammardenchia Rock" 2006, a "Gradisca d'Isonzo" 2007. Partecipano anche a tre concerti di beneficienza.
Attualmente, c'è un rapporto di collaborazione con Umberto Labozzetta amministratore della "Lab Promotion" e della "Passo dopo Passo" importanti agenzie milanesi.

Il 7 Agosto 2007 i C_SIDE sono vincitori del concorso musicale SUMMERMUSIC 2007, dove vengono anche premiati per la miglior cantante e vincono l'entrata in studio per la registrazione del loro primo singolo "GUARDIAN ANGEL".
Successivamente vincono il concorso ARTISTI IN VETRINA, aggiudicandosi il passaggio diretto alle semifinali del concorso nazionale UNA VOCE DEL LIVENZA.
Partecipano anche alle selezioni regionali dell'ITALIA WAVE LOVE FESTIVAL 2008 e alle selezioni del SOTTERRANEA 2008 ad Ascoli Piceno.

C- Side band was formed in december 2002 in Monfalcone from the fusion of Gabriele Recluta and Gabriele D’Alonzo’s music ideas. Recluta and D’alonzo had already been friends for long time before they started this project and they had worked together in previous music realty which have contributed to their growth and to their longing for music making. After a careful research and selection a special voice was found: Francesca Salcioli, who was just perfect for this project. Her knowledge and singing experience brought a new stream of ideas and energies which contributed to the development of the creation of new sounds and arrangements. Later on they have been joined by Daniele Deiuri and David Movio, both of them came from very different experiences which gave a further boost to the experiment. C_SIDE came out in June 2003 when they won the national competition for emerging bands “POPROCK CONTEST 2003†(the prize was the production of a DEMO that brought to the recording of “Understandâ€). After the debut they started to have radio interviews and concerts in important locations of their area and not only. Some among the most important stage, where they performed, are Casinò Perla in Nova Gorica (Slovenia), the Barcolana Live Festival 2005 in Triest (Italy), Sammardenchia Rock, Libertà Sonore 2006. In the summer 2007 the Band triumphs at the competition Artisti in Vetrina 3 and at the national competition for emerging band Summermusic 2007, winning many recording hours which developed in the recording of the new single Guardian Angel. At the moment the band is collaborating with Umberto Labozzetta, who is the administrator of two important agencies in Milan, the Lab Promotion and the Passo Dopo Passo.
