Paul Tietjen

About Me

Paul Tietjen was raised in the blistering metroplex that is Dallas/Ft.Worth. Surrounded by blues, southern rock and...sadly...country music, Paul spent his childhood avoiding hair bands and working threw his short comings as a break dancer. After a life changing viewing of Back To The Future, Paul focused his efforts on the guitar. After high school, he toured the Midwest for one year with "Captive Free". He returned to Texas to achieve his Associates in Arts Degree and then returned for the final three months of "Captive Free East Lakes". With a burning desire to tour full time, Paul moved to Minneapolis, MN and started "speiro" with two other friends of his. Two years later, Paul became a full time Youth Director in Golden Valley, MN. During that time he did occasional solo music and focused as a Middle School/Senior High contemporary worship leader. After four years and achieving a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes International Minnesota, he is a freelance graphic designer, musician, speaker, and father. His favorite things to do are spend time with his wife and son, play guitar, kickball, softball, ultimate frisbee, paintball, foosball, create, and spend time with the awesome community that has developed around him. Paul is proud to have been a missionary for the past two years to Haiti. His least favorite thing is not making the most out of every moment of life. MyGen Profile Generator

Sounds Like: I don't know who I sound like? Can you really say you sound like anyone without sounding arrogant? Tiny Tim, if you say you sound like Tiny Tim then you're not stuck up. If you say you sound like Milli Vanilli, then people are confused. If you say you sound like Elvis, then you are an impersonator. I just hope my sound is pleasing to one's ear.
