Churchnoise.com is an online community dedicated to bringing Christian perfomers and their fans closer together. It is both a place where independent Christian artists can network and fellowship, as well as a resource for fans who want to discover new music and keep up-to-date on their favorite performers.
Churchnoise.com's core mission is to advance the ministry of Christian artists. The association desires to encourage individuals to utilize their artistic skills in Christian ministry, to help them pursue that ministry avocationally and/or vocationally, and to increase their effectiveness. Churchnoise.com's greater mission is to build up the Christian church through sharing the Gospel with people regardless of their identity or situation.

In exchange for maintaining membership, artists receive many opportunities, both tangible and intangible:
Fellowship in a community of Christian artists. While not all members perform in Christian venues, each member has a faith journey to share and ascribes to the Christian faith. Our time together is blessed by God's presence among us.
Publicity opportunities via the website and other artists. The Churchnoise.com website offers a service of e-mail notification to interested persons, informing them of artists' performances and appearances. This innovative system automatically sends notices every two weeks, using the information artists list about their schedule. Additionally, members have agreed to recommend each other for possible bookings, and publicize one another's appearances where appropriate.
Exposure to a broader audience. Members can, by being listed at the Churchnoise.com site, expect their name to receive wider attention. Within the first couple months of joining, several members received calls resulting in bookings simply by having their group's name listed as a Churchnoise.com performer.
The opportunity to appear on a Churchnoise.com sampler CD. The first volume of this resource has already been released and includes 15 audio tracks, as well as two enhanced video tracks. The first CD was made available to members at $5 a piece. Members are welcome to give away their purchased copies, or sell them for whatever price they think is reasonable.
The option of performance time at Churchnoise.com artist showcases. Members of Churchnoise.com, in conjunction with Youth Encounter, work to put together artist showcases. Each artist who so desires is allowed to play two songs, or use an equivalent amount of time, to share with the audience a sample of what they do.
A supportive network. In addition to all the things listed above, Churchnoise.com provides a structure within which members can approach one another with questions and advice. Some of us are new to this independent artist thing; others have been trodding for decades. By gathering together, we can guide and help one another so that each can best seek after his or her own vocational calling.
A gift back to the Church. By working together to share our gifts, Churchnoise.com becomes a valuable resource to church workers seeking greater variety in the arts. Churchnoise.com offers an alternative to what is featured in glossy magazines, and brings a unique perspective of independence from corporate structures.
