Welcome to the Myspace of Throckmorton Drums. I am Niles Williamson. I create Throckmorton Drums in San Marcos, TX in a small but sufficiant shop space. Throckmorton Drums are made with Keller V.S.S. maple shells for impeccable sound. For years I have been collecting what I consider to be some of the wildest veneers available. I then apply it to my drumshells in a continuous bookmatch pattern that is even wilder. The visual appearance of the finished product is definately a sight to behold. So good in fact, that MAJOR drum companies have already "adopted" my style, and have dubbed it "vertical grain" . Since some of my kits are zig-zag as opposed to just straight vertical grain, I will not refer to it as such.Please contact me through e-mail with any questions regarding pricing, customization options, and availability etc...
