The Earthfall (New album coming soon)

Italiano: The Earthfall nasce nel dicembre del 2005 dalle ceneri di varie bands del panorama bolognese ( Neurotic, Marthym, September Damage), con l'intento di portare nuovo respiro nella scena metal della città. Punto di partenza sono le influenze portate nel proprio bagaglio tecnico/musicale da ogni componente ( dal thrash/death, al post-core etc.), lo stile del prodotto finale è un approccio ragionato al metal moderno. L'obiettivo non è essere riconducibili ad un genere particolare: noi vogliamo costruire il nostro stile, il nostro modo personale di rapportarci alla musica...non suoniamo come nessun'altro: suoniamo come noi stessi. Dopo aver partecipato e vinto le selezioni regionali ed esserci classificati al III posto nella finale nazionale del concorso “Emergenza Rock 2006”, la band comincia a tenere molti concerti in locali importanti di città tra cui Bologna, Imola, Faenza, Ferrara, Venezia, Modena, Ravenna... "Falling & Rising", del 2006, è il primo demo autoprodotto del quintetto ( 3 canzoni, on-line su sito e qui...), e rappresenta il primo sforzo consapevole del gruppo; ricevendo feedback decisamente positivi ( nel blog sono riportate le recensioni) motiva i The Earthfall a maturare e a continuare ad evolvere. THE EARTHFALL: .........I told you to listen with CAUTION......... ____________________________________________________________ ___________________________English: The Earthfall is born in december 2005 from the ashes of various band ( Neurotic, Marthym, September Damage) , with the purpose to bring new will to the city’s metal scene. Point of departure are the tecnical and musical influences brought in by every single member ( from thrash/death, to post-core etc.), and the final product syle is a reasoned approach to modern metal. Our aim is not to follow a particular trend: we want to build up our own style, our personal way in relating to modern metal...we don’t play like anyone else: we play like ourselves. After participating and winning regional selections and gaining the III place in the national final of “Emergenza Rock 2006”, an international contest, the band starts to do many live shows in many important clubs of cities like Bologna, Imola, Faenza, Ferrara, Venezia, Modena, Ravenna... “Falling & Rising” , 2006, is the first self-produced Ep of the band ( 3 songs on-line here and on our website...), and represents the first fully aware effort of the group; with definitely positive feedbacks ( you can find the reviews inside of the blog) it motivates The Earthfall to mature and to continue evolving. This is just the beginning...
