Music, music, music thats all about me really. Started off by ditching class to go to the local record store to listen to whatever new music had come in that day, which lead to me being asked to leave school (I was in Thames, so it wasnt that big of a deal) Got a gig DJ'ing (or selecting) grunge/rap at an Auckland bar called BOB, which became quite the institution for myself and friends. BOB also housed the first Jungle parties with the likes of 48sonic and Riddle playing. Instantly was interested in the jungle sound but nothing came of it yet for me. This lasted around 4 years before the bar closed and I moved onto playing at various other bars including POD and SQUID, before ending up at VOODOO LOUNGE. Good times there but it was during the nu-metal beginning and I found myself disliking the genre more and more and turning towards the likes of Meshuggah, Refused and the more European sound. I then left the bar and got a job at FU BAR. There I started hearing alot more dnb and my interest in it started again ... I have played support for the likes of Ed Rush + Optical, Pendulum, Psidream, Mayhem, Klute, Teebee, Noisia, Bulletproof, Roni Size, Moving Fusion, Concord Dawn, Friction, The Upbeats, State of Mind, Chase + Status, LTJ Bukem, Black Sun Empire and D Bridge as well as running Aucklands only monthly tech/neuro night "Tech Support"
