E.B.E. (Elite Breed Empire) was born in 2002 while Capo-G spent time in a Missouri penetentiary. Initially comprised
of a couple fellow inmates, Luni and Novikane, E.B.E. began making plans to succeed in the music industry through
their own independent label. After release, they all vowed to stay away from the streets and concentrate on their
music. However, shortly after Novikane was discharged, he was sent back per violations, and Luni still had time to do.
But Capo-G stuck to his dream, and hit the studio hard with an old friend, Special K, through whom he was
introduced to Phoenix and TurQua (pronounced Terk-Qua) who were known for their freestyles and hard-hitting battles.
Soon after, Capo-G, Phoenix, and Special K jumped in the studio and recorded the local hit -
Strange.
In 2003, Capo-G was introduced to Dynamic through a locally famed artist named Jelly Joe. However, not much came out of
this meeting until Capo-G and Dynamic ran into each other again at a local St. Louis barbershop. With little discussion,
they began recording music at Dynamic's studio, doing solo tracks and collaborations. In the interval between their
first meeting, Capo-G met Brandon Mendes (A.K.A. Raw Dawg), a local music manager, while performing a show at
The Kastle. Soon after, they came to contractual agreement. With professional management, Capo-G turned his sights to
stardom. After months of recording and work, the shows started rolling in. With 28 shows done since October 2005, E.B.E.
has built a loyal fan base across St. Louis. In the intermittent period since October 2005, the following artists have been added to the E.B.E. roster:
Vegas, TurQua, Dj, and Buttons. With a well-rounded range of talent & Hip-Hop music, E.B.E. is poised to be St. Louis' premier
independent label. For booking information please contact Brandon Mendes at
