I am a mommy to my 13 yo son and 7 yo daughter, wife for 13 years to my wonderful hubby, and I also work nights at the local hospital in ER Admitting.I'm happy to accept friend requests from anyone that shares a similar interest, or from someone I know now or used to know back in the day...if it is not obvious from your profile that we have something in common, if you could please send me a short private message just stating why you're requesting an add...lately I've had so many requests that are obviously "business opportunities" that I don't want an legitimate friend request to get denied. Thanks!A favorite poem (sometimes attributed to Mother Teresa but the original version was by Kent M. Keith): People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.

I'd like to meet:

Rick Springfield....again :).Please pray for Sahara Aldridge, age 12, as she fights stage 4 malignant glioblastoma. Her blog site is here saharaaldridge.blogspot.com to read more about this courageous girl.

Music:

So, if you haven't figured it out by now, Rick Springfield is my all-time favorite musical artist. Otherwise my musical tastes are all across the board. Daughtry, Nickelback, Hoobastank, Linkin Park, Third Day, MercyMe, Evanescence, Wynonna, Josh Groban, Clint Black, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Neil Diamond and Barry Manilow are but a few artists stuck in my mp3 player together. My 2006 Rick concert review through pictures :):

Television:

Some of my favorite shows: Grey's Anatomy, Two and A Half Men, How I Met Your Mother, House, Numb3rs, Criminal Minds, CSI (the original or New York versions, not really crazy about the Miami one), General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, South Park, the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and Saturday Night Live. Love the Simpsons: I also love anything Muppet-related. Especially this dude.

Paris's revolving jail cell door

She's in. She's out. She's back in. I've avoided blogging about Paris Hilton up to this point, because I don't think all of her crap is really newsworthy. But I can't turn on my computer, radio, or T...

Peanut butter is eeeeevil

I am allergic to peanuts, so I have no affection for that American staple: peanut butter. Yes, I'm the one that probably made your last airplane flight peanut-free. But I'm sure some of you kids...
