There's a fine line between clever and stupid

About Me

I am a creative director for a large midwestern design firm. And although I appear to be kind of old, I am sooooo immature that you would think I'm about 17 to talk to me. This is a big asset in my work but not so cool other times like when my stupid parents come over and like try to run my life and junk. Just kiddin. I like to have fun and be silly....you? But seriously folks I am actually pretty responsible and have a nice home and car. My girlfriend is currently fed-up with me and I am trying to keep her from running off..we'll see how that goes. I paint and exhibit in professional and amateur shows state wide. It's really just a hobby since the bulk of my fading talent and ability is expended designing things here at our company. When it comes to evaluating my career, I am reminded of a quote by George Burns, "By the time I discovered I had no talent I was too successful to quit". My "friends" are really just a collection of cyber autographs I guess, kind of like Rupert Pupkin with a MySpace
Cool Myspace Contact Tables

My Interests

Surviving in a cruel world not of my making...I also read, play racquetball, and paint tasteless, garish portraits of girls in naughty Halloween costumes.

I'd like to meet:

anybody who can carry a conversation who does'nt want me to help her get out of Africa or sell me prescription Viagra. Background By Profile Mods

Music:

jazrockfusion.etc Basically anything except Rap, Death Metal, and Toby Keith. Not so crazy about Kenny Chesney either.

Movies:

The usual. My big favorite is "This is Spinal Tap"...if you dont get this flick, or dont think it's funny, just hit the back button now, we cant be friends.

Television:

yes. I own two. I Like the usual old-man things: History Channel, UFO stuff, Football, Hitler, etc.... Despise reality shows except the CBS Evening News.

Books:

Now reading Bryson's " A Brief History of Nearly Everything", also love Henry Miller. I read "Look Homeward Angel" 30 years ago but still think about..and mention it when I am trying to come off as "literate". I also like "A Confederacy of Dunces" quite a bit.

Heroes:

My two grown sons who totally rock!..
