Rebecca hit the Billboard Jazz charts with her French and English vocals on Steve Reid's (Bamboo Forest) smooth Jazz CD Dream'Scapes. Long known as one of the two beautiful girl singers with Red and the Redhots, she has sung all over the US and Europe, been featured on national television, and was spotlighted with them in Vogue Magazine with Leonardo Di Caprio. She sings with different bands in the Los Angeles area including The Mark Harrison Quintet and The Bill Fulton Band, and leads her own swing band, Strictly Ornamental, and smaller jazz ensembles for Rossi Music, the music agency created by her and her husband, GRAMMY-winning saxophone player Rick Rossi. The title song of her debut CD Love Me Like Candy was snapped up by the producers of the TV series Roswell shortly after it's release, and was again used in the Oscar-nominated move The Cooler, as well as on the soundtrack CD. Other soundtracks like Down With Love as well as several compilation CDs feature other songs written by her, from the same CD. She co-wrote and recorded two songs for the CD Joseph's Dreams, which won the 2002 Silver Mike Award. She is currently working on her new CD If I Had A Gun-And Other Love Songs due out in the middle of next year. Love Me Like Candy is about to appear on television again, this time on the HBO series Cathouse. And Rebecca is working on her new CD cover, trying to figure out what's better than posing in a tub filled with chocolates. Any ideas? Please, post them here!
