Buy it here ! Visual began his development as an emcee enthralled by the auditory atmosphere he found within his Logan Square home on Chicagos North Westside. With Gang activity being at it's peak in the 80's, it was rough for a hispanic kid in the Logan square neighborhood that Visual grew up in. Regardless of all the drama, guns, drugs etc, Visual and his family held their ground and made it through those rough times. Music was the main thing that gave Visual an alternative the downside of his neighborhood. He was especially captivated by any type of song that was thematic, in which the musicians passed the listeners a lens with which to view their story. Artists such as Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, John Lennon, Krs-One, and Nas instilled in Visual a fascination with story-telling. It is in this spirit that Visual chose his name. Visual believes that regardless of your birthplace or experience, he can offer you a means through his music from which to see life from his perspective.Consistently appearing on mixtapes (including his Community Service crew mixtapes), releasing an EP (Dirty) and an LP (Work) both under the name NDvisual, and collaborating with Chicago pioneers the Molemen: Visual is steadily establishing himself as one of the hardest working emcees in the Chicago underground. A relentless Grinder, Visual continues to display a work ethic that conveys not only a love for hip-hop music, but an evident desire for success. Visuals long-term goal is longevity within the musical arena, but believes his Hustlers resilience will provide opportunities for other ventures as well. Visuals most recent release is the LP Figured it out which is a conceptually diverse record and displays the best of what Visual has to offer.RHYME SCHEME BIO
Myspace.com/rhymeschememolemeninc"For my people" the album is out now ! Buy it here ! Rhyme Scheme, at the young age of 13 realized that he had a passion for writing. He spent his early teenage years soaking in the sounds of hip hop music blaring through the speakers of the cars cruising down his neighborhood, which in turn guided his passion for writing into music. He spent his teenage years learning how to write lyrics, structure a song, and began tampering with recording music. At the age of 19 he was picked by Panik, of the Molemen, to join the pioneering collective. Rhyme Scheme spent the next three years under the wings of the Molemen. In this time he has gained an awareness of the music making process, as well as the business aspect, and grew as an artist, an opportunity that not many young artists are fortunate enough to have. He has recorded his debut album, For My People, which was released under Molemen Inc. Rhyme Scheme is a commodity within the over populated rap game. He speaks from the heart, takes time with his lyrics, and focuses on making great music. With a matching work ethic and a positive outlook on his future, this young Chicago artist is definitely someone to keep an eye on in the years to come.
