Potential Victims was formed in March of 2001 and hails from the small town of Chambersburg, located in South Central Pennsylvania about 20 miles west of historic Gettysburg. Members, Bruce Howe, B. Raifsnider, Jack Lyons, and Walt Andrews came together to walk a different musical direction than what is publicly served and still currently fads the region. Potential Victims Writes and composes music that mixes each members individual style and influences together, That being the focus of the project, The conclusion is a powerful blend of originality using old school aggressive hardcore punk rock influences, mixed with modern metal drop tune alternative riffing with understandable lyrics of past addictions, individual experiences, mental anguish, and sarcastic opinions being the common emotional pool the band finds honesty in writing about. By embracing the decision to stay true to themselves with an attitude of, "either you like it or you dont", Metal or Not, These hardcore bullheads known as Potential Victims or (PoVic for short) have gained a lot of respected attention throughout the region and continue to grow their fan base one performance at a time.
