Symphonic country-rock out of Copenhagen, Denmark. August & The Red Apples revolves around lead singer & songwriter Kristoffer August. In 2004 August put out the EPs "In A New Constellation" and "Still Young & Out Of Tune", and in 05 the selftitled "AVC1" with the indie-rock band August Venture Club.
When 2006 came around he found himself living with the beduins on the eastern shore on the Sinai peninsula. Embraced in the vast silence of the desert a series of songs were conceived, songs that were to become the head corner stones of his DEBUT album.
Returning to Copenhagen August gathered the freshly picked Red Apples in Black Tornado Studios, and on may 3rd 2007 FROM UNDER THE SUN was released. Following the release party August & The Red Apples gave a few special concerts in Copenhagen, at MÃ¥nefiskeren in Christiania, and at the 10th year anniversary of Props Coffee Shop.
