Leon Juke (R.I.P. Camu Tao)

Ok....Ill try to be serious now..........urrrrggghhh.......is this one on....ok....(story time)....everything started for leon when he was like three years old in VA.......he got one of those fisher price tape players that had the microphone attatched to it, the little karaoke joint......he had that and a tape of Michael Jackson Thriller........he used to rock the tape non-stop, front to back.......but being only like three and not really having everything figured out, he was kinda confused about a few things......like how does this music come out of this little rectangular piece of plastic? Is there somebody somewhere playin this music live? and then its being transmitted to my tape deck? what? The funny thing was that leon actually thought that everytime he pressed play to listen to the Michael tape, that Michael was chillin ready to rock.....funny stuff huh.......After a little while leon was like, "he can't be playing that perfect everytime"......eventually he figured it out......and once the light turned on, it stayed on......dude was amazed how you could record music and put it on this little piece of plastic.........crazy!...errrrrrrnnnnn.........fast-foward a few years to the late eighties......the scene was Germany.......livin over there cause his pops was fighting wars and ish.........one of leons neighbors was a DJ.......leon would hang out at the house and watch, asking all the questions he could......knowin that some day thats what he wanted to do............he even got to get behind the wheels of steel a few times............fast-forward a few states.........cities.....and....towns.........the year is 1999......and leon finally cops a pair of 1 and 2s...FINALLY.........dude had been playing drums.....started playing when he was like three feet tall.....messed with the saxophone and the guitar for a minute too......but it took til 99 for him to get the turns........the light was now bright as ever......now he has the turns......from there leon started working on different techniques and building a record collection........he started cuttin for friends at house parties for a few years.....and all that good stuff..........eventually coping a little sampler, the 303......and a keyboard.....and thats when the light switch broke in the on position.....from there hes just been essembling noises on a constant light speed projection.......learning to play new instruments, machines, and programs......and just trying to make good music......hes got a few projects in the works, so look out for those.......and leon says Peace to the Architects! all day everyday!
