My Interests

I had to take an early retirement due to medical reasons. So now, I have become very active volunteering. I volunteer at the local Senior Center in my community. I have found that volunteering is "Good Medicine."

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet all the wonderful folks I have made friends with here on MySpace. But for now, let's just share a giggle.....

Music:

Ever since Kurt posted this picture on his page, I have had a strong desire to push him in that creek. Must be the mischevious side of me! Thru the power of animatiion, I have got one step closer to getting his boots wet!
Be sure and check out the Kurt Schmitt/Lori Emory Productions Page for the most updated info about Kurt. Like I always say, Lori's got the scoop!

Movies:

I like a movie that has some rhyme and reason to it and I also enjoy true stories. Ahhh yes, the occassional Love Story can be quite nice too....Gotta give props to SpiderMan! Love the movies and I collect SpiderMan memorabila. I got in the habit of looking for Spidey items when my son was a little boy. He too was a big fan.

Television:

I don't watch alot of television, but there are a few shows I try not to miss. Lost, Greys Anatomy,Dancing with the Stars, and American Idol. No, I won't apologize for that last one. I like so many others, am fascinated with American Idol. I admire the talent of some of the young singers, and I love to watch them blossom from week to week, as they come closer to realizing their dream come true. I even think Simon is a Cutie-pa-Tutie!!

Books:

Charles Shultz is one of my favorite writers. His stories and characters are timeless!

Heroes:

Our Men and Women in uniform. Past, Present, and Future.
