Half Empty Records

Today is Tomorrow's Sound

About Me

AND NOW A LITTLE ABOUT US.....
Half Empty Records formed officially in 2004 by Jeremy Eisenberg (ex-Blaked, ex-All Limbs Intact). HER released its first record in July 2005: "The Further, The Better" by Deconstructing Jim out of Chicago, IL. In early 2006 Joe Rood, a friend of Jeremy's, wanted to get involved with the label. He is now Co-Owner with Jeremy.
Presently we are a small label outta DeKalb, IL. We enjoy helping and working with small, talented indie bands as we have had the pleasure of dabling as musicians. While we're still getting our feet wet behind a desk, we want to work with quality musicians who want to create a new sound and keep original music alive. Take. It.
NEWS FROM THE MERIT COMMISSION:
NICE TO MEET YOU, JAPAN ...AND TOUR TOUR TOUR! 9/24/07
We appologize for the lack of updates. Me and Joe are extremely busy. It's borderline rediculous. You know what, it's not borderline at all, it's just flat out rediculous. Sewer line collapses, significant flooding, very large work loads, Chicago Cubs baseball, and Rex bashing. Man we've had a lot going on over here in Northern Illinois. But anywho, lets get to some label business.
1) Today we just had an online order from Japan. Both CD's were purchased by a gentleman from our neighbors to the West.. or is it East? Hmm anyway, thank you sir and spread the rock accordingly. This is our first order from outside of the lower 48.
2) Deconstructing Jim is out in force. My God, the Fall/Winter will be "off the hook". Get hooked HERE.
3) Our radio department has just recently sent out a ton of "...Swords" cd's to midwestern radio stations. On this run we specifically targeted Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota because you are all very, very good to us. Most major college stations will have it in the next couple weeks. Pester them. Pretend you're a cicada and they are a tree trunk.
4) And don't forget D Jim's previously released cd "The Further, The Better" is only $7 and if you order 2 or more discs from CDbaby you will recieve 20% off your order. See the light HERE . To purchase the new record, "A Future Told By Swords", head over to CDbaby. You can see your light HERE .
