Fear my mighty posturing

About Me

I remember this one time in middle school, they had apple juice the fermented... tasted like really awful beer…an unhappy day in my childhood... the sky was a musket grey, and the town drunk, Stooly, pulled down his pants and tapped danced down Main Street, only to be shot dead by the hound dog at the fire department…things were a little different back then. Children laughed, because the school ventilation system was filted with nitrous oxide, and Santa Claus taught seventh grade phys ed, and when the town drunk, Stooly, was shot out of a cannon to deliver our nachos, he smelled of week old beer and a faulty liver, and now, whenever I smell split beer I can only help but think of the town drunk, Stooly, and my order of nachos, which had failed to be delivered. Yes, never a sadder day in the life of a child. Not even those third world kids that need the support of a cup of coffee. I sit and weep, for the town drunk, Stooly, and my nachos.

My Interests

Writing, playing bass, baseball, movies (theater or DVD), comics, music with feeling, contemporary lit with a dark sense of humor, outdoors, a hot cup of joe (not, not Joe...) people watching, playing with animals, imagining the chaotic, deconstrucing Harry, reconstructing Mary, the unique, the intelligent, the little things that make life more interesting, anything that makes me laugh, philosophy, and surprises. And cake. Golly, I do love moist cake.
