The International Black DocuFest's (IBDF) mission it to create a dynamic forum devoted to showcasing the most innovative and compelling documentary films on the lives of people of African descent. Through a series of screenings and facilitated discussions, IBDF will explore the creative ways in which documentaries capture and chronicle the diverse experiences of black life from around the globe.

FILMMAKERS:
The International Black DocuFest is now accepting film/video submissions for the 2008 festival schedule. The festival is open to all documentarians whose content is relevant to IBDF's mission. The early submission deadline is February 15th and films will be accepted on a rolling basis until the final deadline of July 11th, 2008. Please visit us online to download the 2008 submission form.
