Poochie

HI! My name is Poochie and I am a Japanese Chin. I live with 2 cats and my human. Here are Montana and Sylvester, the cats.
I was actually a stray found on the street about 5 years ago. I was skinny as a rail and covered with fleas. Surprisingly, my previous owners could never be found, even after searching in newspapers and on the Internet. Eventually, when no other human claimed me, I got to stay with the human I am with now. Since I was a stray I don't know when my real birthday is, so my human decided that my birthday is the first day of the new year!
My human takes care of the cats and me and takes me on walks every day. I get sad when my human leaves every day. She says she is going to work, whatever that may be, but she always comes back home at the end of the day.
Thunderstorms scare me, and I can't stand the rain. If it's raining you can forget it, I am not going outside, I will HOLD IT until it stops!
My nickname is Slurpdog, or Slurpy, for I have a habit of licking my front legs and feet all the time. Watch out though. If someone isn't looking I will slurp them too; their arms or hands or anywhere I can get a quick lick!
My favorite things are going on walks, (definitely only when it's not raining!), eating, and I love when my human scratches that place right above my nose that I can't reach! When my human gives me dog treats I always spin around in circles in delight doing the infamous "chin-spin"!!
