Brandnewday is a melodic hardcore band from the Northern regions of Holland, founded halfway 2003. Since the mid 1990s, the members of brandnewday have been actively involved in several bands.
Brandnewday plays upright, intense music, fueled by a solid base of straightforward, up-tempo punk rock and heavier parts that some would label hardcore. A shared passion for '80's hardcore and '90's punkrock is what mainly influences the sound of brandnewday.
In March 2004, a demo-CD called a better goodbye was recorded. The demo contains 5 upright, passionate songs and was recorded, mixed and released according to DIY standards. This demo was recorded as a 3-piece, with Nico and Snaar on vocals. Nowadays Marius handles the microphone and Dorian takes care of all the rock, riffs, slides and solo's. With a brandnew lineup, brandnew songs and a brandnew promo brandnewday is ready to rock the stages again.
